21st Century Hearing Now Part Of Hearbase

We’re expanding and have just acquired two smaller Kent-based hearing aid companies.
Mark Scutchings, managing director of Hearbase, today announced its acquisition of 21st Century Hearing, following the retirement of founder Roger Rouse. We have also acquired the Amanda Banham Hearing Aid Consultancy.
Mark said: “We feel very positive about the future of our industry and the place of the independent provider who can offer product choice and customer service that bigger companies struggle to match.
Personal service
“By acquiring these two smaller companies we shall extend our geographical reach and increase our range of services to the customers of these businesses.
“Roger has worked hard over many years to give his customers a high quality, personal service. We will continue that tradition while offering an expanded range of services such as tinnitus advice, earcare and wax removal.”
Safe hands
Roger said: “Hearbase will look after the 21st Century Hearing customers and I am pleased to pass my business on to Mark and his company. Mark has more than 35 years’ experience in audiology and hearing aids. I can promise that you will be in safe hands.”
One of our team will be in touch with 21st Century Hearing customers over the coming weeks.
21st Century Hearing is home visit based, serving customers all over Kent, with a focus on Medway and the surrounding areas.
Greater choice
We will continue to offer home visits to all existing 21st Century Hearing customers. They will also have the option of visiting one of our fixed locations such as KIMS Hospital in Maidstone and One Ashford Hospital.
We are also developing plans to open a new consulting room in the Medway area to give even greater choice to new and existing customers.
