Dances fit for a king is the title of the next concert by Canterbury Music Club – who we are supporting as part of our commitment to the arts in Kent.

The recital features fascinating reconstructions of original choreographies to music by Lully, Rebel and Handel, performed by celebrated dancers Mary Collins and Steven Player, accompanied by musicians from the London Handel Players.

The concert is on Sunday, October 23, at 4pm and takes place in the stunning Colyer-Fergusson Hall at Kent University, Canterbury.

The dancers will also join the London Handel Players in dancing to  J.S. Bach’s B minor Suite.

London Handel Players is a world class ensemble, bringing together leading period instrument specialists in the field of baroque chamber music.

Tickets are £20 but if you can’t get to the concert why not buy a ticket for £10 to watch a live stream of the performance.
