Our audiologist Anabela Pinho is now running our private hearing aid clinics in Margate.

These are provided from the Spencer Private Hospital on the QEQM site in Ramsgate Road.

Anabela joined Hearbase in 2017, shortly after graduating from university in Portugal, her home country.

She mainly covers NHS clinics in south east Kent, for the assessment and fitting of hearing aids but has just started her new role of private audiologist at the Spencer Private Hospital on the QEQM site in Margate. Here she runs a private clinic and also covers diagnostic clinics for ENT consultants.

Delivering the best service possible

While at university, Anabela worked in the biggest private and National Health Service hospitals with top national consultants. She covered both auditory and balance diagnostics and rehabilitation clinics for people of all ages. She also gained experience with hearing aid fitting at a multinational company.

Anabela developed several projects in the community, such as audiology sessions at primary and nursery schools.

She says: “My career took off after joining Hearbase more than two years ago. I’m glad that this company allows me to play the different roles from my base training. I’m a naturally curious individual and I’m always looking into ways of improving and delivering the best service possible.”

When not working Anabela is keen on travelling and spending time with her loved ones.
