It’s not every day that a company makes the leap into television to spread the word about its services, but on Saturday, May 15, we did exactly that.

We launched a new TV advertising campaign on Sky, which will run for the next six weeks, and we hope to attract not only new patients in need of hearing support, but also to remind existing patients that we are open and ready to help.

We filmed the advert just before COVID struck, with a focus on real-life Hearbase patients talking honestly about their experience. One patient appearing in the advert, Mrs Joyce Symes, explained: “One-to-one and also in a group situation I was getting more and more isolated. A friend of ours said, ‘Oh, you go to Hearbase, they will help you.’ It’s given me a new lease of life!”

Despite the ongoing pandemic, our services have continued to expand across Kent, and we now have more clinics, on more days, right across the county. In many ways it was the pandemic itself which led us to invest in this TV campaign, because the increase in our clinic capacity means we can see more patients. For example, since March 2020, we have conducted wax removal procedures on more than 3,000 patients!
