Sharon Harris has started working for us and will be based mainly at the Spencer Private Hospital in Margate.

She qualified as an audiologist in 2007 and has worked in Kent since 2008. Before qualifying Sharon had a very varied career, always working with and caring for people, including in banking, beauty therapy and travel agency work.

Since qualifying as an audiologist she has gained a wealth of experience with three different hearing aid providers, and she is joining us as a senior audiologist at Spencer Margate, carrying out both private and NHS care for patients.

Sharon said: “I believe in treating everyone I help as an individual, finding out what is important to them with their hearing needs, and then tailoring the best solution I can to help them find a better quality of life.

“Commercial and time pressures in my previous High Street audiology providers meant that it could be difficult to always achieve this, and I am immensely proud and happy to be joining an organisation where the importance of the patients’ needs is firmly placed at the centre of everything I do and the service I provide.”

When not working Sharon enjoys walking, travelling (when we can travel freely again!) and learning foreign languages.
