Hearbase audiologists Nikki Davis and Joana Carvalho met former British politician Edwina Currie at Old Trafford, Manchester.

They were attending hearing aid company Oticon’s annual conference where Ms Currie was one of the speakers.

She is one of Oticon’s brand ambassadors and wears its Opn hearing aids.

Improved quality of life

In her address she explained how an independent audiologist had fitted her Opn hearing aids.  She also told delegates how much they had helped her in her career and social life.

Nikki and Joana chatted to Ms Currie afterwards about how the Opn had helped her to hear better and improve her quality of life.
