Following the UK government’s relaxation of COVID restrictions on Monday 19 July 2021, we would like to remind all our patients that we are keeping our COVID safety guidelines and social distancing for the time being.
Our clinical manager Marta Lopes explains: “As Hearbase provides an essential medical service to many highly vulnerable patients, we will continue to follow our existing COVID clinical protocols for the foreseeable future. This is for the safety of all patients using our clinics, as well as our staff. Please follow the five safety steps listed below when you visit a Hearbase clinic.”
1 Arrive on time and wear a face covering
We request you wear a face mask in all our clinics for the safety of staff and other vulnerable patients using our services.
2 Arrive on time and follow social distancing
Try to arrive as close to your appointment time as possible as we are continuing to operate social distancing measures in our reception areas.
3 Answer screening questions accurately
We ask screening questions when booking in your appointments to check you have no symptoms of COVID and minimise infection risks.
4 Let us check your temperature
We have hand sanitiser stations and may conduct temperature checks as you enter the clinic.
5 Follow the safety rules
We are continuing with our usual high standards in infection control, with regular deep cleans in between appointments. All surfaces are cleaned throughout the day.
If you have any questions or feel that you will be unable to comply with these guidelines, please contact us before you attend.
