Connaught Brass are quickly making a name for themselves as a fresh talent in the chamber music world. And they are giving the next concert for Canterbury Music Club, which we are supporting as part of our commitment to the arts.

Having already made their debut at the Lucerne Festival and London’s Wigmore Hall, the ensemble’s ability to manipulate and unify sound earned them 1st Prize in the Inaugural Philip Jones International Brass Ensemble Competition (2019) and the Royal Overseas League Mixed Ensemble Competition (2022).

They are playing for the club at 3pm on Sunday, November 20, in the stunning Colyer-Fergusson Hall at Kent University, Canterbury.

The programme includes music from composers such as Mogens Andresen, Gabriel Faure, Malcolm Arnold and Florence Price.

Tickets are £20 but if you can’t get to the concert you can buy a ticket for £10 to watch a live stream of the performance.
