We’re backing Canterbury Music Club which celebrates its 81st anniversary this season.

The club has lined up another great programme of eight concerts between September and April which all take place on a Sunday afternoon in the superb Colyer-Fergusson Hall at Kent University in Canterbury.

This wonderful building, next to the Gulbenkian Theatre, is perfect for the type of chamber music concerts which the club arranges.

Our managing director Mark Scutchings said: “We are very happy to get involved once again in supporting Canterbury Music Club as it features first class performers.

“We try to support the arts locally and are also corporate sponsors of Canterbury Festival and support Deal Music and Arts. We have also supported St Edmund’s School Summer Music Festival in Canterbury.”

Canterbury Music Club’s new season starts on Sunday, September 25 with a recital by Brecon Baroque, directed by Rachel Podger, with Bach’s Goldberg Variations Reimagined. The season finishes on April 16 with a performance by the Salome String Quartet.

Concerts in the other months include performances by The Mithras Trio, Connaught Brass, pianist Dominic Devagino, and Bayle Cantata and Camerata, directed by Grenville Hancox.

The subscription for the 81st season of eight concerts in 2022/23 is £120, which equates to £15 per concert – great value. Single concert tickets are £20.
