The Hearbase team will be heading to the British Academy Of Audiology conference early next month.

This is a two-day event where audiologists from across the UK have an opportunity to catch up with the latest in the world of hearing aids and audiology.

The focus of the conference is the two-day academic programme which attracts speakers from across the world.

This year the conference will focus on how to improve the quality of service for patients and there will be a number of speakers talking about the latest tinnitus research and the links between dementia and hearing loss.

Latest diagnostic equipment

The conference also hosts the largest exhibition of hearing aids and audiological testing equipment and gives audiologists an opportunity to find out about the latest products from all the leading manufacturers.

Mark Scutchings, Hearbase managing director will attend with Hannah Harris, senior audiologist at Hearbase One Ashford Hospital and Chloe Gilliam, Hearbase senior audiologist and NHS team lead.

They will be paying particular attention to the latest diagnostic equipment as we are planning a major technology upgrade across our centres during 2024 and this conference is the best opportunity to see everything that is new.

It is also a chance to get a preview of the hearing aid technology that is going to become available during the next 12 months so that we can keep you up to date with the latest developments.

Watch this space next month for some of the highlights.
